Kimberly Loong has more than ten years of experience as an academic therapist conducting intervention and remediation for children and adults with learning difficulties.
In 2002, she started LD Resource Network to offer academic therapy to children. LD Resource Network has a strong reputation in Singapore for its customised therapy programmes for dyslexic children using the Orton-Gillingham Approach. Kimberly has been interviewed by numerous local publications for her views on dyslexia.
Kimberly has given dyslexia awareness talks in many schools and has conducted workshops in schools and conferences, both locally and internationally. In 2007, she appeared on “Prime Time Morning” by Channel News Asia to share her experience as an academic therapist. She is currently the only Fellow-in-training from the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators based outside of the continental U.S.A. and Canada.
